The first portrait was taken with a Digital SLR at just 1/60th of a second, at the instance of the portrait being taken I spoke aloud what I wanted my portrait to say. Not content with the incoherent first portrait, we deconstructed and modified a Flat-bed Scanner to take 2 minute Portraits at 600dpi.
