Nick Knight and YCN asked me to respond to 'The Art of Football' for Nike. About 99.9% of my friends dreamed of becoming professional footballers whilst growing up. These photographs are inspired by their motivation and aspirations. To my knowledge none of them became professional footballers, although I know a couple came close. The photographs where taken in places we would kick a ball around because "what goes up; must come down".
