Navigating the downturn is a book commissioned by the RCA's Architecture School, it's focus is the work of four design studios working in different parts of London during the recession.
As the content of the book is focussed on London we approached the book as the city itself, designed in collaboration with Jack Gilbey we decided our role as not to design a book but to design a wayfinding system through this city.
Like any journey through a city each neighbourhood has it's own distinct feel. Each different design studio worked specifically with certain areas and ideas and so each had it's own identity from the other.
